UI Design
A combination of red peppers, salt, and vinegar make up the iconic Tabasco sauce. Family-owned and operated since 1868, Tabasco products are produced by the McIlhenny Company of Avery Island, Louisiana, and have become a culinary staple in American kitchens.
The Country Store, Tabasco’s digital storefront was built on an outdated platform, difficult to update and maintain. It looked dated and stagnant and as a result was converting poorly for years.
The Solution
The .com store was overhauled giving it a modern feel by refreshing the UI and recategorizing products to help users find what they needed quickly. Directing new product photography helped to bring movement into product pages and tie in the punchy color palette for a spicy, tongue-in-cheek feel that was very honest to the iconic brand.
